The Devil

February 15, 2012

I’ve seen the Devil. I know the Devil. He has no power. He’s stuck in traffic too.

Toronto needs more highways. It needs more roads.

The entirety of the greater Toronto area needs more roads.

Driving from midtown Toronto north on the only highway that travels from midtown was not driving at all. My car did not once exceed 30 kilometers per hour until I was past the city and into a rural part of Richmond Hill.

I don’t care what it costs. I don’t care how many neighbourhoods need to razed, build more roads. It is becoming impossible for businesses to operate in Toronto because of the traffic situation.

And don’t get me started on the parking situation in Toronto.

Look on the bright side – when the end comes the Four Horsemen will also get stuck in the traffic, giving us plenty of time to get away!

I went downtown last night around 5pm. I made good time and found tons of free parking around my location.

This same devil — traffic is his name — he terrorizes this area too. I agree — whatever the cost, more roads! TO ARMS!…erm, CARS!

My commute into Portland sounds just like this.

I’ve seen the Devil too. Good lookin’ guy! Too bad he’s such a JERK.

I’m glad you made it home safely, at least, even if you were pretty steamed. You’ve lived to steam another day. :)
