Delayed Weekend Recap

April 16, 2013

In point form:

– I watched some Food Network programming with a pair of vegetarians. I was more entertained by the vegetarians internally debating their life choices than I was by the television. The power of bacon.
– Bobette changed her name. She’s now Mrs. Bob.
– I’m still not sure which is the more amazing accomplishment: Bob finding a woman who is willing to marry him; or Bob making it through his wedding without spilling food on his tuxedo. And there was a chocolate fountain at the dessert table. He was asking for trouble yet he made it out okay.
– I’ve decided. Bob not spilling food all over himself is the more amazing feat. Seriously, I’ve seen this guy make a mess of himself with a chocolate chip cookie and a glass of milk.
– I bought another pair of shoes. Puma suede, navy blue with red trim and an off-white sole. I may have a problem… Not enough closet space!
– My mother was complaining that my brother’s TV doesn’t have an on-screen guide or time-shifting channels. This is a woman whose first television was black and white with no remote and only received three snowy channels. I have to remind her next time she complains when she thinks her cable bill is too high.

Congrats to Bob and Mrs Bob. I wish them a long and happy marriage!
And maybe a Bob Jr too?

I think Mrs. Bob had already decided on a name. Minibob if its a boy. Mulva is its a girl.

Secret to my success… didn’t try the chocolate fountain.

    So little faith in yourself.

Congratulations to Bob and Mrs. Bob! BRAVO!

Those Pumas sound cool. Give us a pic!

And bacon is the most awesome.

When I get around to photo ing more shoes.

Was the wedding this past weekend??

More shoes! Hmm, I’ve bought three pairs of shoes in the past month. You are making me feel that I need to catch up. (There is a pair of rainboots that I have my eye on. Hmmm…)

I have a friend notorious for spilling on herself, especially when wearing white. I will object if there is a chocolate fountain at her wedding.

Yes. Wedding was Saturday and now Bob is saying he avoided the chocolate. That’s how much faith he has in himself.

I know someone who recently stopped taking psychotropic drugs and became a carnivore again. True story.

Are you saying you know of an under-medicated psycho running around feasting on whatever it catches with its own hands?

Congratulations to Bob and Mrs Bob! Yay! April weddings are so lovely. :)

Bacon is some seriously powerful magic. :)

In the first century, St. Paul of Tarses incorporated bacon into evangelism. Many believe it was bacon that gave rise to Christianity from obscure cult to where it is today.
