Carmine’s Lost and Found

June 19, 2013

Last month I blogged about Carmine losing his wallet. He was convinced he left it at the gas station.

Eventually, he had all his cards and stuff replaced.

Then his wife found the wallet in the front yard. Nothing missing from it. He set it down while pulling out a weed.

I am beginning to wonder if “Carmine” is actually a fictitious character that you use to talk about dumb things that you have done yourself, but don’t want to admit to :-)

    ———

Nope. He’s real. He’s his own person.

Poor Carmine. This is something I’d do, probably. What a hassle!

Poor me. I gotta put up with this crap.

I have met Carmine, he is most definitely real and there is no embellishment in these stories.

How long was the wallet on his front lawn?

The wallet was there for a few weeks.

    Bahaha. It’s funny.

I once did something like that. I thought I’d left a credit card in a store and called and cancelled it. As soon as I put down the phone I realized it was in my pocket.

    I Carmine-ed it!

    You’re such a Carmine.

What a pain! He needs one of those wallet-chain things so he doesn’t lose it any more. Also one for his cell phone. He hasn’t had any cell phone escapades lately – I feel one coming on, lol.

He left his phone somewhere on Wednesday.

That would be hilarious, except that you had to cancel the cards. Mind you, I’ve wandered around looking for keys that were in my hand.

He used to do that all the time with his smokes. He says he quit but I just think he can’t find his pack and is too lazy to buy another.
