Carmine’s New Tattoo

July 15, 2013

Do I really to describe it? I think the phrase “Carmine’s new tattoo” says it all.
Carmine now has two sentences in Latin on his arm and a date with the month in English but all numerical values in Roman numerals.
He used Google’s translate function and took a couple of phrases from Italian to Latin. Italian being Carmine’s least butchered language. The way Google’s translate function works requires all words to be spelled correctly otherwise misspelled words will just be copied over.
In the end, Carmine misspelled two words, so whatever stupid thing he tried to say, well, it’s just jibberius maximus (Latin for jibberish). He concluded the tattoo with a date, March 4, 1943.
From a quick internet search, the date could really mean only one thing, the birthdate of an Italian pop-folk singer.
The phrase, from my best attempts to reverse engineer his failed attempt at Latin is this: “You can not fit will if you’re always diseased.” I’m sure it sounds better in Italian.

LOL Reminds me of those Chinese character tattoos – how would you know what it’s really saying if you don’t speak that language?

I bet the date means something else though.

Well, tattoos are supposed to express your true personality. And since he’s ridiculous I guess it’s appropriate for him to have a nonsensical tattoo.

    Best rational I’ve heard.
